Despite best intentions, did you end up in a role that isn't a good for you? Don't see eye-to-eye with your supervisor? Does the culture of your company or your department not fit with your values? Do you feel like a square peg in a round hole?
If this is happening to you, it is time to GET OUT!
Every company and department feels different when your work there. There's no shame in recognizing that where you are now is not a good fit for you. It's critically important to find a role and a culture that fits you. Just because someone else is flourishing in a particular culture doesn't mean that that culture is right for you.
You owe it to yourself to seek out an environment where you can shine and enjoy your work!

Interviews are a two-way street!
It's equally important to sell yourself to new employer AND to
probe what that new employer's culture has to offer you!
Have a job, maybe even a good title or salary? But are you really happy? Maybe you just "ended up" in this role, or maybe you thought you'd love it, but you don't.
Many people just apply for any job they find online that looks close to what they do. It's critical to be very strategic about roles you apply for and accept. It's extremely important to decide where want to go, and then be strategic about how you get there.
Ever hear something like this?
Situation: You reach a fork in the road and ask:
You: "Which road should I take?"
Your friend: "It depends, where are you going?"
You: "I don't know."
Your friend: "Than it doesn't matter."
This fictitious scenario plays out on grand scale when conducting your job search. If you don't know where you ultimately would like to be, you can find yourself losing months to years in a job or industry that doesn't bring you fulfillment and happiness.
